RECENT NEWS 2023
Painter8 has been running for the last 5 years as the Painter8 Arts Society. Originally founded in 2013 as an online Painter group where artists shared their work in different regions in Canada that facilitated an art dialogue across the country. Painter8 is now recognized as a BC not-for-profit organization who has made professional group exhibitions in Vancouver, Edmonton, Miami and New York. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the previous Board Directors: Craig Talbot, Tom Cummins and Tim Rechner for their many years of service and dedication to Painter8 as directors and artists of the group.
Do you remember the show names: Saucy, Sliver Whisper, Invisible, Fight or Flight then you also participated in viewing and experiencing the Art of Painter8. This year starts with the new term of the new Directors: Chrissy Cheung, Russ Mastine and Carey Dodge. Chrissy returns as Director and was the founder of the group in 2013. She has exhibited professionally over the last 20 years. Russ Mastine is an expert in the Motion Picture Industry bringing 30 years of experience to Painter8. Carey Dodge is a technologist, receiving a Masters at the Sonic Arts Research Centre in Belfast and has collaborated with hundreds of artists.
