UPCOMING: PAINTER8 Arts Society presents THE GLASS CITY
A project in which windows bring together the eyes of the neighbourhood
Our vision is to exhibit the works of talented Vancouver and Canadian artists in a public and accessible way without barriers. Our intent is to engage the Vancouver community and create a dialogue around public art. To utilize urban spaces creatively, enhancing the cultural landscape of South Vancouver/Yaletown. This project is specific to Vancouver and the arts community.
The project engages the artists : Rafael Sottolichio (Montréal, Qc), Adrian Williams (Berlin), Melanie Garcia (Montréal, Qc), David Belcourt (Calgary, AB), Marianne Valdez (Surrey, BC), Gillian Richards (Vancouver, BC), Kevin House (Vancouver, BC), Lizzie McCorquodale (Nanoose Bay, BC), Monique Mees (Vancouver, BC).
