CALL FOR ARTISTS

For the next Painter8 public art project 2026

PAINTER8 is looking for new visual artists to join PAINTER8

Criteria:
- You are Canadian. We welcome submissions from all qualified artists of all backgrounds
- You are a practicing contemporary visual artist, preference to those who identify as a painter
- You have formalized art training or you are a wickedly self-taught artist

Please indicate in Subject line: Call for Artists

- You are invited to submit a series of 5+ images or a website link with your recent artworks.
- Write a summary or 2-3 paragraphs about what your art is about (bio-artist statement)
- Indicate which city you live in. If an exhibition were to take place in Vancouver would you be able to travel for the art opening?

Painter8 Arts Society is a recognized BC not-for-profit arts organization since 2018. We operate on a volunteer basis for the mission to present professional contemporary art exhibitions in a group context. Painter8 is registered with the Canada Counci for the Arts.
